Originally founded in 1958 as Bohrman Manufacturing & Engineering, Genesis Machining provided custom steel slitting, stamping, and vinyl coating of wiring fasteners for the automotive industry as well as job shop machining for many of the major Midwest manufacturers such as Harnischfeger, Rexnord and Milwaukee Electric Tool.
Mr. Bohrman retired in 1986, handing down the company to his son, Pat Bohrman. After acquiring the business, Pat renamed the company Genesis Machining and acquired a staff of almost 20 professionals. Pat owned the company for 22 years, and then sold it in 2008 to his foreman of 20 years, Rudy Vrana.
Genesis Machining continues to enjoy successful business relationships with a variety of customers, many of which have lasted well over 20 years. Today some of Genesis Machining’s customers include Harley Davidson, MetalTek International, Envirex, Simplicity, Milwaukee Electric Tool, and Mercury Outboard.
